EXP. Restaurant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Chef or Apprentice to join our close-knit team in the heart of the Hunter Valley. We’re a fine dining destination known for our six-course degustation menu, creative use of local and native Australian ingredients, and our commitment to delivering memorable experiences for every guest.
About the Role:
Work alongside award-winning chefs in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment
Contribute to a seasonal, ever-evolving menu focused on Hunter Valley’s best produce
Hands-on experience with modern Australian cuisine in an intimate, open-kitchen setting
Opportunities for growth, training, and creative input
Flexible roster, primarily dinner service (Friday–Monday) and Saturday lunch
What We’re Looking For:
Genuine passion for food, produce, and hospitality
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous kitchen experience (for chef applicants) or a desire to start your culinary career (for apprentices)
Commitment to high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and professionalism
