Join the EXP. Restaurant Team - Work Experience Opportunities

Step into the kitchen at EXP. Restaurant for a day and experience how a modern, produce-driven fine dining restaurant really works.

We open our doors to a small number of apprentices each year who want to spend a day in service with us – watching, learning, asking questions, and getting a feel for life in a tight-knit, professional kitchen.

During your day at EXP. you’ll:

• See how we run an intimate, 28-seat degustation restaurant from prep to service

• Learn how we work with local and native Australian ingredients

• Discover how we use ferments, vinegars, misos, garums and charcuterie to build flavour

• Observe how a seasonal tasting menu is organised, plated and executed as a team

This is a learning experience, not a job trial – ideal for curious, committed apprentices who want to broaden their skills and see a different style of kitchen.
